Retirement Income Strategies
You’ve worked hard for what you got. You value every penny. Let’s make sure you get the most out of your nest egg.
Retirement income strategies are not just for the wealthy. Today we enjoy the ability to live longer lifespans, so you may need to plan for your retirement savings to last 25 to 30 years. One drawback to a longer life is the greater possibility of outliving your savings — creating all the more reason to develop a retirement income strategy designed to help last a lifetime. At Netzel Financial, our retirement income strategies work to help grow your portfolio, protect your principal, and generate sustainable income that you can’t outlive.
Annuities
An annuity is a contract you purchase from an insurance company. For the premium you pay, you receive certain fixed and/or variable interest crediting options able to compound tax-deferred until withdrawn. When you are ready to receive income distributions, this vehicle offers a variety of guaranteed payout options.*
Fixed Income Vehicles
Time and time again people talk about investors wanting safety, a rate of return and a sense of liquidity; but it’s well known that all three don’t coincide and no single asset offers this. A reasonable rate of return can be between 6% and 8%, and investors have to decide how much risk they want in order to obtain this return. One such option for this would be through bonds or notes, AKA fixed income vehicles.*
Non-Traditional Asset Class Investments
This method of investing allocates a portion of investable assets into alternatives or non-traditional asset classes. These alternative investment types may offer options to our investors that may not be available elsewhere. Of course, we do not recommend investing in investments you do not understand, that is why we recommend having a one-on-one discussion to go over what these assets entail.*
*Insurance and annuity product guarantees are backed by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. All examples are hypothetical and provided only for illustrative purposes; they do not represent real life scenarios or specific products and should not be construed as advice designed to meet the particular needs of an individual’s situation.
